YOUR PHOTO SESSION

Our “on location” photo sessions are never rushed, and normally take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, this can depend also on the mood of your child. Please be sure to schedule a time in the day when your child is the happiest. If someone in your portrait isn't feeling well the day of or before your session, please give us a call to reschedule, as we want all subjects within your portrait at their best.

Home, pools, gym, country club, golf course, pool hall, bowling alley, stables, fire station, parks, lakes, the ole’ dirt road, recital hall, grandma’s house, theater, stadium, baseball diamond, and any other place that has a special meaning to you!

~ One word, SIMPLE! By staying simple the focus is on you, and not what you are wearing, avoid heavy patterns and logos.

~ Ensure that all members of your portrait have coordinating clothing. Such as all lighter tones or all darker tones. (You do not want one person standing out more than the others upon viewing your images.

~ We suggest picking a common clothing item that most will already have such as dark jeans with black shirts or tan pants, skirts with a lighter colored shirt.

~ Consider which room your image will be displayed in when deciding on clothing options.

~ We LOVE bare little toes rather than shoes, so we photograph children for the most part barefoot.

Outdoor Portraits - Clothing options will change with the season.. Some general suggestions are:

Spring/Summer – Lighter toned clothing usually works best, again KEEP IT SIMPLE. Simple summer dresses and overalls are a couple of fun ideas.

Fall – Darker toned or fall colored clothing looks nice with all the fall colors that are in abundance usually the last two weeks of September and through November or until the first big snowfall.

REFERRAL PROGRAM– When you refer a new client to FireSide Photography you will receive a certificate by mail for a free 8x10 portrait upon completion of their session. Certificates can be saved and used all at once or one at a time. Certificates expire within one year of issue and can be used on for previously taken photos.
